10 Commandments, Virtues, Memorare, Acts of Faith, Hope, Love, Mysteries of the Rosary and Mass liturgies.
Language Arts:
Reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, creative writing, spelling, journal writing and literature circles.
Math:
Review addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, problem solving, whole number operations, geometry, graphs, time, data, fractions, and decimals.
Social Studies:
Pennsylvania history, goverment and geography and US regions.

Physical: Motion, forces, electricity, magnetism.

Fifth Grade Curriculum at a Glance
Religion:
The Sacraments, Liturgical Year, the Mass, and Prayers. Scripture, Creed, Christian Morality, Community and Service.
Language Arts:
Six themes of integrated language arts including: Reading comprehension and vocabulary, spelling, grammar, creative writing and journal writing, independent reading, book sharing (verbal and written) and handwriting review.
