The arts are considered a core academic subject by the U.S. Department of Education and St. Anne School recognizes the importance of art and music in the elementary school curriculum.  Students study art history and the elements of art, and are encouraged to express themselves through art forms such as painting and drawing.  Art is also incorporated into other core subjects, such as Integrated Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies, where students use illustration in book reports and scientific drawings, and reproduce the artistic expressions of the cultures they study.

Music education is also an important part of the St. Anne curriculum through weekly music classes, the morning prayer service, and the celebration of Mass.  Students study music history, composition, and arrangement, and have the opportunity to showcase their musical talents throughout the year.  Private and group music lessons are also available for a reasonable fee, and students can participate in band and chorus.
