St. Anne school does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, national and ethnic origin, age (in accordance with the law), and physical or academic constraints (within reasonable accommodation). Preference in admission is given to Catholic students who are participating members of our sponsoring parishes; secondly to Catholic students who are members of other parishes; and thirdly to non-Catholics.
Admission Procedure
- Parents must return completed pre-admission forms with all required items on the checklist.
- Families attend interview with the principal.
- Students in grades 3 - 8 meet individually with the principal.
- Students in grades 3 - 8 must pass an admissions test.
- Complete formal registration and submit a copy of any legal custody documentation (if applicable).
- Student visits for a day at St. Anne’s—shadowing.*
- St. Anne’s sends a letter of acceptance/rejection. Admission is conditional upon student’s first marking period of school.
*When a student visits he is paired with another student in the same grade. This student serves as a “tour guide” for the day, allowing the potential student to experience a typical day at the school. St. Anne’s highly encourages students to shadow multiple times, so they will feel comfortable and positive about their decision to attend St. Anne School.
“Sending our children to St. Anne School has been one of the best decisions we have made with regard to their future. The students are taught to grow and learn in more than just the basic academic classes. They are taught ways to give back to the community, assist others in need, responsibility, respect, and a love of God. St. Anne School is one of the best kept secrets in Lancaster!” -Michael and Diana McCoy
